They are developed in compliance with the Digital Services Act (DSA, EU 2022/2065) — Art. 14 (notice mechanism), Art. 16 (notice & action), Art. 20 (internal complaint mechanism) — and the EU AI Act (EU 2024/1689) on AI-generated content.
Last updated: 15.04.2026. Applicable law: DSA (EU 2022/2065), EU AI Act 2024/1689, GDPR.
1. Core Principles
- Respect: engage with other users with dignity, regardless of differences.
- Honesty: share only information you believe to be accurate. Clearly label opinions as opinions.
- Safety: do not post content that could harm people, especially children.
- Accountability: stand behind the content you publish.
2. Prohibited Content
- Illegal content: any content that violates EU law or applicable national legal systems.
- Hate speech & discrimination: incitement to hatred based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
- Harassment & threats: personal attacks, stalking, public shaming, or threats directed at a specific user.
- CSAM: any image or description involving children in a sexual context — immediate removal and notification of authorities.
- Disinformation: intentional sharing of false information designed to mislead.
- Coordinated inauthentic behaviour: mass-managed accounts or organised campaigns to manipulate.
3. AI-Generated Content Rules (EU AI Act Art. 50)
- If you post AI-generated text, images, audio, or video, you must visibly label it as "AI-Generated".
- Deepfake content depicting real people without their consent is prohibited.
- Synthetic disinformation (AI-generated fake news or quotes attributed to real individuals) is prohibited.
- MovieFinder may use automated tools to identify and flag AI-generated content.
4. Intellectual Property
- Do not post copyrighted content without permission.
- Links to pirated copies of films/series, IPTV streams, or illegal downloads are prohibited.
- Respect citation rules — brief excerpts with attribution for comment purposes are permitted (fair use/fair dealing).
5. Personal Data Protection
- Prohibited: posting personal information of third parties (doxxing) — names, addresses, phone numbers, emails without consent.
- Do not post photos or recordings of people without their consent.
- Unlawful processing of personal data violates GDPR and will result in immediate removal and possible notification of the supervisory authority.
6. Content Moderation
- MovieFinder applies a combination of human and algorithmic moderation.
- Automated tools are publicly disclosed in accordance with the EU AI Act (Art. 50) and the DSA.
- Moderation decisions are made within a reasonable time after notification.
- Where there is sufficient indication of illegal content, we act immediately regardless of the existence of a formal report.
7. Reporting Mechanism (DSA Art. 14)
- If you see content that violates these guidelines or EU law, you can report it to: reports@moviefinder.top
- Include: URL/ID of the content, description of the violation, and your contact details (optional).
- Anonymous reports are accepted, but providing contact details speeds up processing.
- You will receive a confirmation of receipt within 48 hours.
8. Appeal Process (DSA Art. 20)
- If your content has been removed or your account functions restricted, you have the right to appeal.
- Send an appeal to reports@moviefinder.top with: type of decision, the specific content affected, and arguments against the decision.
- We will respond within 14 working days with a reasoned decision.
- If you disagree with the internal outcome, you may refer the matter to a DSA-certified out-of-court dispute settlement body.
9. Consequences of Violations
- Warning: for minor or first-time violations.
- Temporary restriction: posting suspended for 7–30 days.
- Permanent ban: for serious or repeated violations.
- Notification of authorities: for illegal content (CSAM, threats) we automatically notify competent authorities.
- All actions are accompanied by a notification and right of appeal, unless a law requires immediate action.

- We publish an annual moderation transparency report in accordance with DSA requirements.
- Changes to these guidelines are announced with 14 days' notice.
